Season 2 of Poetry in America concludes with an ensemble cast–the largest of any Poetry in America episode–reading Walt Whitman, that most mythically capacious of American poets.

The episode will air nationally on May 30, 2020, the day before Whitman’s 200th birthday year ends. To celebrate the occasion, and to pay tribute to the plentiful ramifying and intersecting turns of his poems, episode guest, poet, and cruciverbalist Adrienne Raphel has created a special Whitman-focused crossword to accompany the episode.
