Poetry in America’s Teach Together Webinar Series offers support to middle- and high-school English Language Arts, History, Social Studies, and Art teachers who are working to design flexible lesson plans for remote and hybrid teaching dynamics. Developed by Harvard Professor Elisa New and her Poetry in America team, this four-part webinar series will provide content area and pedagogical instruction for teachers, as well as engaging materials participants can use with their own students—whether teaching online or in the classroom.
Teach Together is built on the Poetry in America television series, and includes an introduction to core techniques offered in our full-semester for-credit courses for teachers. Webinar participants will receive curricular materials and co-create lesson plans tailored to their own students’ needs.
Stay tuned for more information about the next run of the Teach Together Webinar Series. If you would like to request a Teach Together session in your area, please write to [email protected] with the subject line “Teach Together.”
